Prestatyn is just over an hours drive from Liverpool, so perfect for a quick getaway. We spent four days here and this is what we saw: Rhuddlan castle Well this is definitely where I took the most photos on our holiday – wow! We were the only ones here even though it was a Sunday morning in the summer holidays. It’s only the outer wall of the castle left and we weren’t allowed to go up the stairs to the top of the turrets, but the grounds are lush and Alfie just ran around, playing hide and seek and generally living his best life. Glasgow – Where to Eat!
Here’s the post you’ve all been waiting for… We got a few takeaways as it was easier with our toddler to eat in our accommodation, plus we had friends come over and join us so it worked out perfectly. Here’s what we recommend: Maki and Ramen We are obviously obsessed with Japanese food and always give it a try. We were very surprised at how amazing this was – we got a takeaway and put the contents in a bowl, poured the soup stock over the top and it was delicious! Glasgow
Glasgow? More like Glas- GO GO GO! I haven’t been to Glasgow in twenty years. I have to admit it was the most scary place I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot of scary places… We were followed, threatened and generally it felt unsafe. But recently a whole load of people have been raving about how it’s changed and so we just had to find out what they were on about. And they were right.
